MONTELLI

Surface material Montelli^TM was put on the Czech market by DuPont at the end of 2004. In so doing, DuPont responded to demand for material that is cheaper than well-known Corian® but has similar features.
Except for bonding agent (made from polyester resin), Montelli^TM has similar specifications as Corian®. As such, it can be cut, milled, grinded and, needless to say, glued without joints. Nevertheless, it cannot be bent and shaped by heat. Montelli^TM resists temperatures up to 180 °C and proves very good mechanical properties such as hardness, toughness, abrasion resistance and tenacity. As products made from Montelli^TM are non-porous and jointless, they will not absorb any liquids - and that's why Montelli^TM is resistant to many types of stains. Montelli^TM complies with all hygienic standards and is therefore ideal for kitchens and other environments (hotels, restaurants, banks, hospitals etc.) where high durability and hygiene is required.
Although Montelli^TM colour palette contains 49 hues there are only 8 hues available on the Czech market. They were selected on the basis of previous selling experience and include monochromatic and various grainy textures.
Products made from MontelliTM are guaranteed for two years. Anyway, as they are almost indestructible, it could be said that the guarantee is in fact unlimited.
